Texas A&M University is an official subscriber to Quality Matters™ through ITS.Quality Matters™ is recognized worldwide as an inter-institutional peer review process that utilizes a research based set of standards known as the QM Rubric to assess the quality of the design of an online course. There are currently 800 subscribers in 46 states as well as several countries outside the U.S. Research indicates that the QM process and QM Rubric are effective in producing quality online courses.This 8-hour workshop is designed for persons who want to learn about the QM peer review process and how to use the rubric to both design quality courses and assess the quality of current courses. The rubric is designed to provide a rigorous set of standards that can be consistently applied to online course design (not delivery) as part of a commitment to continuous quality improvement.Workshop participants include but are not limited to graduate assistants, faculty, lecturers, staff, and administrators.

This session covers basic skills and best practices for creating and optimizing online course content so it is accessible for all users.
Every first Friday, stop by the ITS classroom at anytime between 1:00pm to 4:00pm and receive one-on-one assistance from ITS to address any inquiries you have about the various software, systems, and devices supported by ITS.
