Request for Proposals: Innovative Pedagogy Grant Program

In support of the Office of the Provost's Pedagogy Project, Instructional Technology Services (ITS) is excited to announce the continuation and expansion of the Innovative Pedagogy Grant Program for the 2017-2018 academic year. Originally designed to target 100- and 200-level courses, the program has now been expanded to include 300- and 400-level courses. Sixteen awards of up to $10,000 each may be made to Principal Investigators located at the College Station campus.
The goals of the program are to enable faculty and staff to:
- Increase student motivation
- Improve student engagement and retention
- Integrate instructional technologies
- Incorporate pedagogy
- Develop measurable course learning outcomes
The three-phase program incorporates face-to-face workshops, professional development, and one-on-one meetings with the ITS Instructional Design Team.
All appropriate college Associate Deans for Undergraduate Programs (or equivalent) have been requested to select candidates to participate in the program. Each college will develop its own process for selecting candidates. Please refer to your college's Associate Dean for further details. Candidates must complete the required Request for Proposals.
Once colleges have selected and submitted candidates to ITS by close of business on Monday, August 28, award letters, notifications of acceptance, and additional details will be provided by Thursday, August 31.

Note: This program is only available to faculty and staff who are located at the College Station campus and are Instructors of Record for 100-, 200-, 300-, and 400-level courses.
