Request for Proposals: ITS Innovative Pedagogy Grant Program

In support of the Office of the Provost's Pedagogy Project, Instructional Technology Services (ITS) announces the continuation of the Innovative Pedagogy Grant Program for spring 2018. The program offers the skills and support necessary to successfully intertwine technology into online or hybrid courses to Texas A&M University–College Station Instructors of Record for 100-, 200-, 300-, and 400-level courses. Sixteen (16) awards of up to $10,000 each may be made to Principal Investigators.
The goals of the program are to enable instructors and staff to:
- Increase student motivation
- Improve student engagement and retention
- Integrate instructional technologies
- Incorporate pedagogy
- Develop measurable course learning outcomes
The program incorporates face-to-face workshops, professional development, and one-on-one meetings with the ITS Instructional Design Team.
Candidates should submit their completed proposals, as outlined in the 2018 RFP, to ITS by Monday, January 22. All proposals are to be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Proposals will be reviewed by the Instructional Technology Services Team and evaluated using an associated rubric. Notifications of acceptance and additional details will be provided by Monday, January 29.

Note: This program is only available to Instructors of Record who are located at the College Station campus and teach 100-, 200-, 300-, and 400-level courses.
