13th Annual 2017 Teaching with Technology Conference

Instructional Technology Services at Texas A&M University is once again pleased to coordinate another System-wide, two-day event for sharing the latest trends and topics in instructional technology. This year's theme is "Activating Student Learning," with special emphasis on active, multi-disciplinary learning and inclusive teaching approaches that encourage student motivation.
Presentations will cover a wide range of teaching and learning topics in over 50 sessions. Plus, the schedule will feature two keynote presentations from leaders in higher education:
- Katherine Banks, vice chancellor for engineering for The Texas A&M University System and dean of the College of Engineering, will present "The 25 by 25 Transformational Education Program" on Wednesday, March 1, 12:00-1:30 (lunch provided for registered attendees)
- Phillip Miller, vice president of teaching and learning, and Jim Chalex, senior director of product management, both with Blackboard, will present "Creative Teaching Approaches: Global Examples of Engaging Students with Technology" on Thursday, March 2, 8:30-10:00 (breakfast provided for registered attendees)

There is no cost to attend the Conference, but attendees are encouraged to register now to allow for better event planning. Registered attendees will receive light breakfasts on both mornings, the first day's keynote lunch, the second day's grab-and-go lunch, and refreshments throughout the event.
